What this site keeps

Very little. The app runs on your Mac and talks to your servers directly. This page covers the website and the early-access list.

The early-access list

When you leave your email, three things are stored: the address, whether you run one server or several, and the time you signed up. That's it.

To stop sign-up spam, your IP address is turned into a one-way hash and kept for one hour, to count tries. The IP address itself is never stored.

The website

There are no analytics, no tracking pixels and no cookies. Like every website, the host (Cloudflare) sees the requests your browser makes. The fonts come from Google Fonts, so Google sees your IP address when they load.

The app

Stenvakt keeps your server list, keys, reports and logs on your Mac, in ~/Library/Application Support/Stenvakt. Nothing is uploaded. When you add an AI agent, it reads reports through a local helper on your Mac. What that agent then sends to its own provider is up to you and that agent.

The country map downloads a free IP-to-country database (DB-IP Lite) once. Lookups then happen on your Mac, so the addresses in your logs never leave it.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete what's stored about you, or object to it. Write to hello@stenvakt.com from the address you signed up with. If you think your data has been mishandled, you can complain to the Croatian data protection authority, AZOP, or to the authority where you live.
